DIE KUNST DER REISE - Archiv London

After TRAVEL ART - Archive Vienna and TRAVEL ART - Archive Frankfurt the Loughborough Junction Station in London was the third station of the long-term art project.

An abandoned ticket office in the Loughborough Junction station in south London, between Brixton and Camberwell, was furnished as a TRAVEL ART ARCHIVE and operated for two months.

Artists from London were invited to contribute a piece of work to the ARCHIVE.
Outposts of the ARCHIVES were set up in the Battersea Arts Centre, the Chisenhale Gallery and in the Watermans Arts Centre, where selected works were presented in showcases on a weekly basis.

Additionally events were organized in the ticket office, the co-operating art centers and in the London Filmmakers Co-operative as well as a closing event at the Chisenhale Gallery.
