Measurement of a desert path of approx. 4km length, dissected into straight lines by markers (stone manikins) and paced. Recording of the path with reference to axes (information on change of direction, recording of gradients, soil conditions), drawings of the horizon at every change of direction, according to the new point of view. Sounds recordings of steps. Getting to know the alien landscape step by step. An approximation by the means of an impressionistic artist and those of a surveyor. Walking the same path twenty-four times.
