Karamustafa Import - Export
300 years of cultural, ideological, political mutual influences and commercial exchange (since the siege of Vienna by the Turks, under the command of Karamustafa), are the historical and social background of this art exchange projects by Turkish and austrian artists, It formal setting consists of two diplomatic briefcasesm bought in Istanbul and Vienna, filled with various items (objects, texts, samples…), refferig in all cultural-historical respect to the mutual influence till today. The briefcases were transported by the diplomatic courier from city to city at the same time, and were permanently exhibited at the CAFÉ VIENNA in Istanbul and the CAFE DOAN and CAFÉ NIL in Vienna.
