Private Aegina
Private Aegina came into being in 2003 as part of LIGHT I IMAGE I REALITY - The Aegina Academy - a forum for science and art on the Greek island of Aegina. It takes its theme literally: Realities from Aegina in the form of private historic photographs.
In collaboration with the inhabitants of Aegina and the local weekend newspaper, private historic photos of people, buildings, street life etc. were collected. They were subsequently published weekly and exhibited in Markellos Tower.
The exhibition was then consigned to the Pachia Rachi cultural center as a permanent loan and can be viewed at any time.
